Kenya National Public Transport Summit 2025 (KNPTS 2025)
Women Shaping Cities served as Programme Design Lead and Knowledge Partner for Kenya’s first National Public Transport Summit, advancing coordinated public transport reform.

Over two days, sessions examined governance reform, road safety, financing models, digitalisation, green mobility, spatial planning, workforce strengthening, youth participation, and mainstreaming age-, gender-, and care-responsive transport. The structured programme enabled cross-sector dialogue and generated concrete priorities for coordinated public transport reform.
